Hades is a Common Battleship that is unlocked by opening Battleship Blueprint Artifacts. It has a moderate amount of health but a fast movement speed. Its Commander Ability can resurrect your fighters while it is active. Hades renders itself as an oddity with its speed, high move cost, and low hitpoints, but capable Commanders can make the most out of its ability with devastating effect.
Hades' narrow profile leads to its five Turret hardpoints to be clustered, which can be utilized effectively in defensive (or rarely offensive) action. It has large blind spots near the stern, although the rear Turret may mitigate this somewhat.
Commander Ability: Resurrection Bay[]
Hades can restore any destroyed fighter you launched while its Commander Ability is active. It is passive ability, and active for 30 seconds. Its cooldown is 10 seconds, and during the cooldown, you cannot resurrect your fighters. Also, any single fighter can be respawned only once.
Strategy[]
Playing with Hades[]
- Hades has low hitpoint and poorly placed turrets. Because of that, Battleship Hades is vulnerable to enemy fighters that have high damage, especially when they are attacking near Resurrection Bay. You should defend them properly.
- Battleship Hades is hard to use. Sometimes it does not resurrect the fighters you expected to be respawned because of cooldown. You should keep your eyes on module active duration/cooldown.
- Hades' Resurrection Bay benefits from respawning large quantities of Fireflies, and other low hp units. Since the units that respawn lose most of their health, it can be beneficial to respawn ships that would have a low health to begin with. Carriers, fireflies and stealth units will be most beneficial once respawned.
Playing against Hades[]
- Decay can be very useful when dealing with large amounts of resurrected units due to their low hp
- Hades players often attempt to swarm a player with fireflies. Interceptors can be very useful when trying to deal with these swarms of fireflies.
- Modules such as Carriers and Rocket Launchers are commonly used by Hades players, it is recommended to bring Ion Blast, any form of Wisps and play aggressive against Hades users.
- Try to keep track of Resurrection Bay's timer. If Resurrection Bay is about to go offline, try to hold off on killing units until it's actually offline so that they don't respawn
- AOE cards don't actually deal their damage instantly, so if you can hit both a unit and Hades' Resurrection Bay you can kill the unit twice with one AOE
- Make sure to bring multiple AOE units and/or cards, as Hades can output massive amounts of spam and will overwhelm you if you don't have sufficient AOE
